![]() At this point, with 2070 being 1404 set in different time with, admittedly, a couple nice additions, I can't imagine them doing the same thing over again. I think that whatever there is to say about the problems anno 2205 has, it is an evolution of the game. (share value, short of dividend, drops you earn a lot of less money. also can go very bad in debt bexause of loosing share value. In exchange you get a bonus for production efficente. Also sort of mini game with the Corporate shares you can buy from others. World stock market is a diffrent aproach but is a nice puzzle because it can fluctuead. Place with draging a lot of houses as mentioned buy others a bit like SIm City. Overal it is easierr building in anno2205. if you puzzle so you also have new game time. They changed the revenue for you goods so there is a new balance puzzle. I did not actived yet because of the new lv of difficult modes did made my old save game almost crashed in dept funds. So now in a harder game mode you also will be attacked on your home ilsands. The and in the last dlc now at the end for free, after a lot of complains about not menioned enough descreiption of the seaons pass. Also i must play in small windowed mode because of the system requirements. But Grahpics of 2205 indead are a bit nice. I prefer a little bit more 2070 with deep oceaon. So for me anno 2070 is top, 2205 flop (especialy the -in my oppinion- stupid rare: In the beginning yes but considering that there is a sector project/tech for each in the endgame you Map: isnt each sector bigger than the whole 2070 map? Personally i think at least 50% of the reason for the sctors is performance/RAM management. In 2205 you need fast Harddrive, becorse avery time, you change the area, the game is loading, and with a conventional harddrive it feels like waiting forever. In 2070 you had a loading screen at the beginning af a map, than the entire map was plaable without any further loading-screens. in2070, the minigames where nice to have to be more efficient, but if you don't want them, you could ignore them (they gave items to optimise your ships/buildings/islands). Originally posted by Naxas:in 2055 you are forced to do minigames or military missions to get the rare materials. (PS.: I have all including Addons except 1503, where i didnt like the concept of those little trading stalls instead of taxes) Better Anno feeling is in 2070 or even older ones. I think 2205 is the way to go for a new player, to get a general feeling of what stuff looks/works like, and what to watch out for production-wise. So its really as said above: 2205 is simcity in the 2070 universe (you'll "meet" some NPCs, some relics, some talk about the corps from 2070). IV) Random world events: Happen in both games. In 2070 the mission map where static too, but you have a pool of islands that more or less get randomly dropped on the map in endless mode. (frontiers iirc introduced a variable with the sector bonus system, where you get a random bonus from a pool, which you have to pay ingame stuff to change) III) Sectors in 2205: interesting concept, but once you have seen walbruck basin, you have seen it, period. ![]() Invasions in the last dlc should be a bit like that, idk, not quite there yet to activate it for my corp.ΔΆ070 combat: randomly on the map your cities are on, your stuff against theirs, as it was since 1602. level your ships you'll be sick of the maps, since the only things changing are the starting point (2 on some maps i know of, might be more) and the optional side missions. II) 2205 combat: how many missions are there? 5? 10? Anyway if you max. I) 2070 is still harder to figure out, 2205 really tells you most of the stuff you need to do. ![]()
